Our Story
BLK GRL Collective was founded by Abisola Forrester at just 13 years old, with the help of her family, as a way to fund her travels with an organization for girls of color called Cinnamongirl. But it quickly turned into so much more than just a fundraiser. It became a movement and a business, with the goal of spreading love and empowering girls of color all over the world. At BLK GRL Collective, we value authenticity, inclusivity, and self-love. Our clothing line is about more than just fashion; it's about giving our customers the tools to easily express themselves and feel confident in their own skin. We exist to remind black girls and women everywhere that they are worthy, deserving, and capable of achieving their dreams.

BLK GRL Collective is on a mission to provide girls of color with empowering opportunities, and we plan to do this by partnering with non-profits, black-owned businesses, and woman-owned businesses. We believe that by supporting and collaborating with organizations that share our values, we can make a greater impact in the world and create positive change for girls of color. We also aim to create a community of girls who support and uplift each other. Through our clothing line and online content, we strive to spread positivity, self-love, and inspiration to girls of all ages. We believe that every girl should feel confident, valued, and seen, and it is our mission to help make that a reality.
